LWU Student Transfer Guide

Who may apply here

• You are currently enrolled at Living Water University.
• Your LWU student record exists in Populi with the same email you will use on this portal.
• Your documents are already uploaded under Profile → Documents in LWU Populi.

New international applicants who were never enrolled at LWU must use the standard WMCGW admissions process instead.

What this portal does for you

1. Verifies your LWU enrollment using your student email.
2. Loads your profile and document list from LWU Populi automatically.
3. Creates your WMCGW transfer application with your LWU program and the open transfer term.
4. Copies your LWU documents into your WMCGW Populi student file.
5. Generates and emails your WMCGW Acceptance Letter and Transfer Release Form.

Step-by-step: how to submit

1. Open transfer.wmcgw.edu.
2. Enter your LWU student email address and click Verify & Load My Profile.
3. Review your personal information and the list of files loaded from LWU Populi.
4. Confirm your Program of Study at WMCGW (same as your LWU enrollment) and Academic Term.
5. Read this guide, then check both confirmation boxes on the portal.
6. Click Submit Transfer Application.

Your documents

Files are read from your LWU Populi Profile → Documents tab. You will see the file names on the review screen before you submit.

• All required documents must load successfully. If they do not, the transfer button stays disabled.
• If documents fail to appear, click ↻ Retry loading documents and wait about one minute before trying again.
• Your current LWU I-20 is transferred to WMCGW as 6. Previous School's I-20 (LWU is your transferring school).
• Only your most recent I-20 from LWU is copied when multiple I-20 files exist.
• CPT application documents are not copied to WMCGW through this portal.
• LWU acceptance letters and LWU application forms from your LWU file are not copied to WMCGW (WMCGW generates new documents after you submit).

After you submit

1. Check the inbox of the email you used on this portal (also check spam/junk).
2. You will receive your Acceptance Letter and Transfer Release Form from WMCGW.
3. Forward both documents to the International Student Office at Living Water University: iso@livingwater.education.
4. WMCGW Admissions (admissions@wmcgw.edu) and ISO (iso@wmcgw.edu) are copied on the message for coordination.
5. Complete any SEVIS transfer steps requested by LWU ISO and WMCGW ISO. WMCGW will contact you if more information is needed.

Program and academic term

• Program: carried over automatically from your LWU enrollment (read-only on the form).
• Academic term: only terms currently open for the WMCGW Transfer Application are shown (currently Fall 2026).

Important rules

• Do not click Verify many times in a row. Wait and use Retry loading documents if needed.
• You cannot submit without documents loaded from LWU Populi.
• Only one transfer application per student is allowed. If you already submitted, contact admissions instead of submitting again.
• Make sure your LWU Populi documents are complete and up to date before you start.
